was born in Rawalpindi,to Ali Malik, a Pakistan Army soldier (Hawaldar), and his wife, Zeenat Malik. She has established herself as one of the leading women in the Pakistani television and film industry. Veena Malik has also worked as a representative at the World Health Organization for two years and sponsors two children at the SOS Children’s Village, an NGO based in Pakistan working with orphaned children. She also featured as a housemate in the Indian reality television show Bigg Boss 4. In February 2011, Veena Malik became part of the Cricket World Cup reality show in Delhi, India, called “Big Toss.” Big Toss was a reality game show with contestants and Malik as the captain of one team, against Rakhi Sawant and her team.
